    Hi.

    Looks like I’m the only commentator on this post. Maybe I’m not clicking on the right link; I don’t know.

    Anyway, I just want to say that, every time I’ve stood up to a sexist remark (which is every time I hear one), I’ve been told by women and men alike that I basically shouldn’t have said anything. I find it appalling. So many women just sit there and allow others (me) to take the hit in the name of our entire gender. I feel like it’s not fair.

    No, no one ever offers better ways of combating the problem; they simply suggest that I not combat it at ll.
